Parenting is very rewarding but can also be quite stressful. The Positive Parenting Program strives to encourage parents to develop nurturing skills through group-oriented therapy and in-home parent skill building. Providing services in the home allows parents and their children to learn skills, have them demonstrated, and begin implementing their abilities into their home and routines right away. The parenting team is able to provide guidance as new skills are learned and used, offering praise, encouragement and support.

Hobby Horse addresses all underlying stressors in the family, linking families to community resources and various assistance that is offered. All services provided will be developed to meet the needs of the individual and family, based on identified goals.
